engineering systems to support decision-making processes. The proliferation of risk-based
and risk-informed applications worldwide underscores the rapid growth of this field. In
addition to probabilistic methods, deterministic approaches, including the Physics-of-Failure
based method, are playing a pivotal role in these endeavors.
The International Journal of Life Cycle Reliability and Safety Engineering offers a distinct
platform for researchers and academics to contribute articles based on their research and
development work, practical applications, and comprehensive reviews in the areas of
Reliability, Safety, and related fields. Additionally, we welcome technical notes focused on
technological advancements, as well as review articles covering books within the journal's
subject area.
The Society for Reliability and Safety is actively engaged in developing strategies and
techniques to enhance system reliability. Our quarterly newsletters and this journal are key
avenues through which the society strives to benefit society as a whole. Authors interested
in submitting manuscripts related to these subject areas can reach out to our Chief Editors.
Submitted manuscripts will undergo rigorous peer review by experts in the respective fields,
and feedback will be provided to the corresponding authors. Accepted manuscripts will be
