The International Conference on Reliability, Safety and Hazard 2005 (ICRESH-2005) was organized by BARC along with other DAE partners during December 1-3, 2005 in Hotel Leela Kampanski, Mumbai. The Conference proceedings comprised of ~ 10 Keynote Talks, ~ 20 Invited Talks and over 120 Contributory talks spread over in three parallel sessions. Based on the proceedings of the conference a book entitled ‘Reliability, Safety and Hazard with a theme Advances in Risk-informed Technology’ was published by the International NAROSA Publishing House. The organization of ICRESH-2005 conference further compilation of ICRESH-2005 proceedings was the First- of-a-Kind Experience for the organizers. The Second international Conference on Reliability, Safety and Hazard with a theme Risk-based Technology and Physics-of- Failure Methods, i.e. ICRESH-2010 was held during 14-16, 2010 in Hotel Four Point, Vashi, New Bombay. The plenary sessions comprising the10 Keynote Talks by renowned experts in the field of Reliability and Safety along with and invited contributory talks formed the proceedings of the conference. Organization of an Exhibition where the business houses, industries, software companies show cased their product and experience and benefitted the participants.

The conference proceedings was published the IEEE-RS – a reputed international Society from Europe.

ICRESH-2015 was organized Jointly by Division of Operations & Maintenance, Lulea University of Technology (LTU), Lulea, Sweden and Society for Reliability and Safety (SRESA) during 1 – 4 June 2015, in LTU Campus. Similar to ICRESH-2010 the Pre- conference Tutorial on first day of the ICRESH-2015 formed one of the major features of the conference. The conference technical program followed the inaugural sessions. The plenary sessions comprised of more than 10 Keynote talks while technical session was comprised of 82 contributory talks including keynote talks.

Based on the 53 full-length manuscript received after the conference a book entitled ‘Current Trends in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety – An Industry Perspective, edited by Uday Kumar, Alireza Ahmadi, A.K. Verma and Prabhakar Varde was published by Springer. This was SRESA’s first experience on organizing ICRESH event outside India.

ICRESH-2019 was held in Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai during January 10 – 13, 2019. This was a four day event. The first day was dedicated to Pre-conference tutorials. Three themes organized in three parallel sessions was a special feature of the conference. Apart from this Life Time Achievement Award Ceremony, and a Technical Exhibition formed part of ICRESH-2019. Seventeen Keynote talk and 110 Contributory talks formed the proceedings of the conference. Based on the proceedings of the ICRESH-2019, a book entitled, ‘Reliability, Safety and Hazard Assessment for Risk-based Technology was published by Springer.
