Membership in the Society is inclusive and open to individuals regardless of gender, race, or any other distinctions, as well as to established organizations that align with the Society's goals and objectives. There is no set cap on the total membership count. However, voting rights and committee membership are reserved exclusively for individuals holding Indian nationality. The Society recognizes six distinct membership categories as outlined in Article 4.1 of its constitution.

The specific educational qualifications and additional criteria for admission into these various membership classes can be found in Articles 4.2 to 4.8 of the constitution.

PROCEDURES FOR ADMISSION TO THE DIFFERENT CLASSES OF MEMBERS
1. Life member
2. Corporate member
3. Student Member

Applications for the above categories of membership are received by the Committee. These applications shall be scrutinized by an adhoc committee constituted by the Committee. The recommendations of the adhoc committee shall be sent for approval of the committee. After such an approval, the person or institution admitted as member will be intimated by the Secretary.

Emeritus Member, Patron, Affiliate Society
Admission of the above classes of members shall be done as per the procedures stipulated in Articles 4.2 to 4.8 of the constitution.

Admission Fee
For all members except Emeritus Member and Patron, admission fee shall be Rs. 200. There shall be no admission fee for Emeritus Member, Patron and Corporate Member. The admission fee for foreign nationals shall be US $25/-.

There shall be no membership fee for Emeritus Member and Patron.

Transfer Fee
The transfer fee from one category to another category shall be as shown:
These fees may be revised by the General Body on the recommendations of the Committee.
